These are some metallomancy spells, both those cast by Iron Core manually and those patterned into his metal equipment (the ball and the bracers).


Base Spells

Sharpening - Despite the name, Iron Core can enhance any metallic object, bladed or not, with extra striking power.

Reinforce - Iron Core can enhance a metal object with unnatural toughness, making armor stronger; weapons and tools more resilient to breaking.

Brilliant Sheen - A magical polish covers a metal object, causing it to reflect brilliant light and blind opponents.

Levitate Metal - Iron Core can lift an incredible amount of metal through magic. The heavier it is, the harder, he can safely lift about 400 pounds.

Shape Metal - Iron Core can bend the shape of most non-enchanted metals, though this can be a difficult and tiring task based on the state of the metal. In general, raw metal is easiest to work with, while forged metals are difficult to shape, and can lose it's strength after being re-molded.

Metallomancer's Preparations - Iron Core uses several crafting techniques and spells to treat a metal for use with metallomancy, making it much easier to manipulate with his magic. The process involves three stages of refinement, the first being traditional smelting, the second being saturated with the metallomancers magic, and the third having spells to shape both the metal and magic to make it ready for use.

Bracer Forms

Claws - The bracer turns into a set of four claws for Iron Core to have a secondary weapon handy at all times. Ideal for close range combat where the ball would cause more problems than it'd solve.

Buckler - Similar to the claws, the bracers allow for a backup shield. It is small but sturdy.

Harpoon Launcher - When used in conjunction with the ball's harpoon form, they can be used to create a way to aim the harpoon. Was originally a crossbow, before Iron Core realized that a metal crossbow wasn't very effective.

Wand - The bracer turns into a wrist mounted wand that acts as a way to direct his ball or metallomancy spells far more effectively and efficiently than without. Unlike most of his patterns, this one was designed by an artificer and was a difficult object to incorporate into his bracer.

Magnet - Both bracers can be formed into a large magnet powered by Iron Core's inherent magnetic abilities to draw distant metal from a surprising range. He can also use them to create a relatively low powered shock-wave.

Ball Forms

Drill - Used for both combat and utility, the ball turns into a large and powerful drill. Often used for clearing blocked paths, large amounts of rubble, and particularly powerful spells and defenses.

--> Drill Burst - Iron Core can give a short boost to the drill that allows it to spin much faster, but this is incredibly exhausting and can only be done in seconds long bursts.
